I’ve always loved amethyst. I tend to use it whenever I’m giving an intuitive reading or working spirituality, in any capacity. By having it close, it helps me focus on the messages I’m communicating and adds an extra layer of psychic protection.

Amethyst works by protecting your energy field and drawing in divine energy. It can be super helpful to wear around people who tend to drain your energy (energy vampires!). Next time you’re caught chatting with that friend who’s constantly complaining about eeeevvvveeeeryything!, have a piece of amethyst in your pocket and roll it around in your hand as they’re rabbiting on. A little history

Amethyst has been revered throughout history. From the ancient Egyptians wearing it in jewellery, to the medieval European soldiers who wore amethyst amulets as protection on the battlefield.

Mined mainly in Brazil and Uruguay, it can also be found in Bolivia, Zambia, Thunder Bay and Rio Grande do Sul amongst others.
